1. Who we are

2. Data we collect and its sources
We may collect your name, telephone/WhatsApp number, email address, address, organisation, job title, enquiry information, course or event registration information, communication preferences, correspondence records, and technical information such as IP address, device type, usage logs and cookie identifiers. We obtain data directly from you through this website, email, WhatsApp, social media, events or courses; automatically through website use; or from third parties where permitted by law or authorised by you.

3. Purposes and mandatory information
We process data to respond to enquiries; register and administer courses or events; provide services and support; manage payments or invoices where relevant; maintain records; safeguard security; comply with legal obligations; and manage disputes. Fields marked as required are needed to process your request or registration. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to respond or provide the requested service.

4. Marketing and your choice
Only with your separate, clear choice, we may send information about A PLUS BOSS courses, events and services by email, telephone or WhatsApp. You may withdraw marketing consent or opt out at any time through an unsubscribe link, message instruction, or email to info@aplusboss.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully undertaken beforehand or communications needed for your request.

5. Disclosure and international transfers
We share data only when necessary with Wix website and hosting providers; email or CRM providers; WhatsApp/Meta for communications you choose; relevant payment or event providers; professional advisers; authorities; and others where required by law or to protect our rights. Some providers may process data outside Malaysia. We take reasonable steps to ensure transfers are protected in accordance with the PDPA. You may request further information at info@aplusboss.com.

6. Retention and security
We retain personal data for seven (7) years from collection or your last interaction, unless a longer period is necessary for law, audit or a dispute. We then securely delete or anonymise it. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including appropriate access controls, to reduce risks of unauthorised loss, misuse, access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

7. Your rights
Subject to the PDPA, you may request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent, limit or object to certain processing including direct marketing, and make a complaint. We may request reasonable verification information to handle your request. If you remain dissatisfied, you may complain to Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Commissioner.

8. Cookies
We use necessary cookies for core website functions. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only after your affirmative selection in our cookie banner. You can accept, reject or manage these choices through “Cookie Settings” on the website; rejecting them does not affect core functionality.
